Wardieburn
Granton Community Gardeners have a long history of working in Wardieburn and have supported residents to establish many community growing sites. In 2012-13 Edible Estates were commissioned by Edinburgh Council to work with local residents in Wardieburn to regenerate four community backgreen spaces, two sites were renovated.
Lochend & Restalrig
We started working in Lochend in 2011 with the development of Lochend Secret Garden, which has become a fantastic example of a ‘neighbourhood garden’. We are currently running the Leith & Lochend Home Grown project which support households to grow at home during the lockdown. Our hope is to develop further community greenspace projects in the coming years.
Hutchison
