Learning & Wellbeing

Our Learning & Wellbeing programmes are offered at local community gardens across the city of Edinburgh.

We work to improve the health and wellbeing, and skills and life chances of those we support through training and learning opportunities in construction, horticulture and landscaping.

Whether its our high schools programme (12-16), young adults programme (16-25) or our programme for over 50 year olds, we are passionate about supporting people to learn new skills, make stronger connections to community and nature, and to lead more fulfilled lives.

Through Learning & Wellbeing, individuals benefit from:

  • Practical training and learning
  • Positive outdoor experiences
  • Rewarding work experience
  • Improved physical and mental wellbeing
  • Improved confidence and resilience
  • Skills development in construction, landscaping and horticulture
  • ‘Job-ready’ skills
  • Deeper connections with nature
  • Stronger community connections

We provide:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, jackets, work boots)
