This year we filmed some of our Growing Youth projects to showcase the incredible work young people are doing at community gardens in Edinburgh.
The video highlights three projects: at Sunshine on Leith Community Garden, pupils from Leith Academy and Drummond High School worked together to build a garden shed; at Muirhouse Neighbourhood Garden, Craigroyston pupils helped renovate the cottage; and at Hutchison Community Garden, pupils completed a polytunnel to benefit the local community.
We also spoke to the young people involved to hear their thoughts on the projects and the difference they’ve made.
