Celebrating Creativity in Bingham

We’re delighted to share a vibrant new addition to our work in Bingham!

Led by Art Buds Collective, this creative project brought local residents together to explore walking, wheeling and cycling through hands-on graffiti workshops. Funded by Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (formally Sustrans), the project connected art and active travel in a way that felt joyful, inclusive and rooted in place.

Working alongside talented artist KMG, participants shared ideas, built skills and transformed those ideas into vibrant artwork full of energy and movement.

As part of our Future Woodlands Urban Woodland project in Bingham, Edible Estates provided a container for the groups to use as their canvas. The result? A colourful, bespoke container that now stands as a celebration of community creativity. This limited-edition artwork will travel with us as we continue our work across Edinburgh — carrying a little piece of Bingham wherever it goes.

A huge thank you to Art Buds Collective, Walk Wheel Cycle Trust and KMG for making it happen.

If you’d like to take part in more creative workshops, there’s a training day coming up at Bingham Community Centre.
