Broomhouse Orchard
In 2023 Broomhouse Growers gained permission to develop an area of disused council land in to a community orchard. The land was previously over grown and full of litter. The group cleared the site over multiple sessions. They have now planted native fruit trees and bushes. They plan to establish wildflower areas, rain water collection and a communal space for locals to gather.
