Strawberry Field is one of the community greenspaces established by the Edinburgh Community Backgreens initiative in the Hillside area of Edinburgh. A disused and overgrown area in the centre of a network of tenement backgreens was regenerated as a community greenspace project to form a hub for community activities. The group was provided with a shared tool shed and tool set, and a dozen raised beds. The neighbours work together to manage the site.
