Broomhouse Community Growing Study

In 2017, The Broomhouse Centre & Enterprises (now Space) commissioned Re:Solution to deliver a Broomhouse Community Growing Study.  The study investigated potential community greenspace/growing projects, and measured demand within the local community for these ideas.

The study recommended the development of a Neighbourhood Garden on the grounds of Broomhouse Primary School, and also a Broomhouse Home Farm project which would grow food at a variety of sites around Broomhouse for community benefit.  The proposal for the school site fell through due to restrictions which were later to arise.  However the Home Farm idea was implemented in 2019, more information about that project here.

The Broomhouse Community Growing Study Report is available for download (8.3Mb).
