Edible Estates is a collaborative project of several core organisations who work with local areas partners and communities across the city.
Wester Hailes Growing Communities SCIO
WHGC is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation constituted in 2017 to support the development of community greenspace projects across Wester Hailes and Calders. WHCG has established itself as the key community food growing and placemaking anchor organisation locally. As a community led charity, we exist to establish and embed community food growing, community food, growing youth projects & placemaking initiatives locally. WHGC support several community growing sites and groups across the area. WHGC is currently working with Murrayburn & Hailesland Community Park Association to establish an innovative community park which will be designed and community-self built by local people.

Edible Estates is a community interest company established in 2017 to provide project development services for Edible Estates projects across the city. Edible Estates is leading on the School Farm project.

Community Alliance Trust
The Community Alliance Trust is a community development trust set up to support greater Craigmillar. CAT sponsored the development of the Magdalene Neighbourhood Garden and are currently developing a Home Farm project in Craigmillar.

Re:Solution
Re:Solution is an urban design agency led by Greig Robertson who has been involved in the development of community greenspace and urban sustainability projects for twenty years. Re:Solution conceived the Edible Estates initiative in 2013 to provide a framework for the creation of community food growing and other community greenspace projects in social housing estates..
