The Wardieburn Community Backgreen project resulted in the construction of one site which created 11 new growing spaces, unfortunately we were unable to move on to complete the second site.

After a long wait. Work has finally started on site with the first of two community food growing projects in Wardieburn (Edinburgh). The project is being delivered by Re:Solution, in partnership with Premier 1, (Edinburgh Council’s term contractor for landscaping).

The Scottish Governments Climate Challenge Fund have approved £290,000 funding for the Wester Hailes Edible Estates project. This will support the construction of Estate Growing Hubs at two estates and healthy eating programme during 2013/15.
We’ve pleased to announce that the reports for the South West Edible Estates Study have now been published. They can be viewed here – Dumbryden, Murrayburn & Hailesland, Saughton Mains Park and the Calders.
We’re pleased to report that we’ve moved into a new office at the Albion Studios. Unit 6b, 78 Albion Road, Edinburgh. Its a large open plan office which we are sharing with a couple of other folk including Look Look which provide retro photo booths for events.
